Language shapes culture.

To raise a world of learners and to cultivate growth and development, we need to shift the way we communicate.

Growth Mindset is about learning. It’s about developing potential and becoming better at the things we care most about.

While there are specific domains in which a perfect performance is required, perfect describes the highest level of our abilities at a particular time. It doesn’t mean we can’t reach new discoveries or breakthroughs in knowledge or abilities.

Regardless of how we would choose to describe a performance, perfect, imperfect or anything in between, in a growth mindset – we take the time to honor, appreciate, and celebrate what worked well. Since we genuinely care about learning, we also find the time to reflect on how we can take our abilities and knowledge to the next level.

Perfect has a limit. Progress and growth are limitless.
